Coastal Creatives, forerunners in coastal style on the south coast have over six years’ experience of sourcing, designing and styling events and interiors. Our award winning seaside gallery in Southbourne, Dorset is the home to collections by over 200 local and nationwide artists and designer makers.

Since the sucessful launch of our Wedding Prop Hire and Styling business in October 2011- Coastal Creatves have been very busy styling weddings, photo shoots and designing and making gorgeous props and decorations for wedding venues.

The 'Great British Seaside' Beach Wedding

This theme is perfect for couples wanting to have a retro ‘trip to the seaside’ feel wedding. Coastal Creatives have styled this package with a candy stripe colour palette of bright pinks, blues and yellows - guaranteed to evoke happy childhood memories. Centre pieces include vintage style sweet shop jars full of seaside candy, giant windmills and buckets of flowers. Bunting is a must, along with our fabulous pink vintage steamer deckchair complete with pompoms.

The ‘Nautical Seafaring’ Beach Wedding

With the Sailing Olympics taking place in Dorset, this look is going to be hugely popular for boat loving couples marrying in 2012.  A sophisticated look, this theme features the classic navy blue stripe running throughout, with rope accents, chrome hurricanes, vintage anchors and naval references .A nautical sun canopy, matching deckchairs and intertwined anchor bunting completes this confident look.

The ‘Coastal Romantic’ Beach Wedding

For couples wanting an elegant beach wedding, Coastal Creatives have styled a gorgeous display of romance and nostalgia using a colour palette of soft shell pinks, cream and white. Tables are laden with shells, pearls, vintage china and stunning beach hurricanes. Vintage shell shaped vases filled with roses and chandeliers made of shells evoke the perfect dreamy beach ambience.

The ‘Eco Chic’ Beach Wedding

The ‘Eco Chic’ theme has a strong up-cycled, beach combed look.  It is an environmentally friendly option for couples who are passionate about the coast, nature and recycling. Coastal Creatives have styled this look using a soft natural colour palette, incorporating vintage fishing nets, rope, sculptural pieces of driftwood and beach found sea glass. The table centre pieces are dressed with coastal grasses to add height and drama to the marquee, and complementing the grasses are seaside alpines in bio degradable pots. ‘Message in a bottle’ also features strongly, embodying the ‘washed up on the seashore’ vibe.
